GROWING TOGETHER MARRIAGE GROUP |
Growing Together Marriage Enrichment/Preparation Group Growing Together is a small group for couples that focuses on marriage. It is designed both for engaged/serious couples who are getting ready to be married, as well as couples who have been married for years and are looking for some marriage enrichment. The focus of Growing Together is on improving communication between couples. The class uses a computer-scored inventory, called "Prepare-Enrich", which measures growth and strength areas in the relationship. This inventory takes a look at communication, conflict resolution, financial goals, impact of in-laws, and other areas of concern to couples. The is a free for the class. This fee includes $30 for the on-line inventory, plus a bit more for materials. Checks can be made out to Crossroads Church. Growing Together meets at Crossroads Church (directions). Each session meet from about 7:00 to 9:00pm. Growing Together usually meets in the springtime, around April - May. What makes this groups unique is that the sessions are modular. They are each stand-alone classes which you will find beneficial to your relationship. YOU MAY ATTEND ANY OF THESE SESSIONS WHICH YOU MAY FIND HELPFUL. When you have completed all 6 of them, plus an individual session with one of the pastors, you will have completed 12 hours of marriage preparation or enrichment counseling.
