Transition News: The Congregation has approved Dean Leonard, Ginny Ackland, Karen Posthumus, Dan DeBoer, Marty Little, Rocky Trail and Richard Stadheim for the Pastoral Search Team. Dare to Care – Crossroads Care Ministry consists of a team of people motivated by love and mercy. Their desire is to provide confidential, Biblical based support and encouragement to those experiencing pain or difficulties, whether big or small. This team has committed over a year of their time to training and learning how to be that Christ-like support to people. If you would like to be contacted by someone from the Dare to Care Ministry Team, there is a check box on the blue insert card in the bulletin each week or you can call the church office at 377-3276. ON RAMP – “Discovering Crossroads Membership” Mondays, April 12th & 19th at 6:30 – 8:30 PM in Zone (youth room). Attendance on both nights is required for membership. This class is for anyone interested in becoming a member of Crossroads or for anyone who would like to learn more about our church and have an opportunity to meet some people. Learn what makes Crossroads a church family, what our essential beliefs are and how faith is lived out here at Crossroads. To sign up write ON RAMP on your “Welcome Insert”, see the sign-up sheet at the Information Table or call the church office at 377-3276. The deadline for signing up is Sunday, April 11th. Crossroads Church Family Photo Album – We will be taking pictures, Monday, March 8th from 6-6:45pm for anyone who would like to update their family photo. If you plan to have your picture taken that evening, please call the church office at 377-3276. If you would like to update any family information or submit your own photo, place it in mail slot # 1 or email the church office at office@CrossroadsChurchFamily.com by March 8th. All photos will be returned. Congratulations to John & Darcie Petersen on the birth of their daughter, Louisa Joy, 7lbs. 5oz. on February 25th. Congratulations to Chris & Ashley Erickson on the birth of their daughter, Ava Grace on February 15th.
The next Women's Ministry Study is by Beth Moore, Psalms of
Ascension;
7 week study of select books of the Psalms starting in April. There is an opening for a Tuesday night leader for this study. Please contact Gala Kubat with any questions at 507-256-7213. A Townhall Meeting will be held Monday, March 15th at 7:00pm. This meeting will be replacing the REFUEL meeting. Connections is a 5-week small group experience designed to help you become more effective at building meaningful and lasting friendships. No matter where you are in your faith, this experience will profoundly impact your understanding of relationships and your ability to take your relationships to a whole new level. Meeting on Monday nights from 7:00-9:00 PM starting on April 26th. Please pre-register at the Information Table. This class is for both serious/engaged couples as well as married couples who want to strengthen their relationship. Dates will be Thursday nights, April 8th – May 6th. After the service, prayer ministers will be waiting in the prayer room at the south end of the Worship Center to pray with anyone who has a need. Thank you for strong men to help us move furniture on different occasions. Thank you to Pastor Bill for stopping by. Just knowing he had stopped was a great comfort. And when all I needed were eggs and was so short on time, thank you to the people who heard the Holy Spirit and obediently dropped off 3 dozen “extra” eggs they had.
