CROSSROADS CARE MINISTRY
MISSION STATEMENT
Crossroads Care Ministry exists to cooperate with the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit to minister the Word of God and the hope that Christ brings to people who are going through a difficult period in life or relationships.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to network with Crossroads staff, the prayer team, and the congregation to prayerfully encourage and support people in pain or difficulties.   We will do this through listening with Christ-like compassion, inspiring and building real hope back into their lives, that they might experience healthy balance in their life.

WHAT IS CARE-NET?

A group of various ministries in our church all motivated by love, mercy and care for others whom Jesus loves.

WHAT ARE THE MINISTRIES?

The most important is the presence of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and minds of God's people, inspiring them to reach out and express love and care as they are aware and able to help a fellow brother or sister in Christ.

We also have several ministries around which people have organized to provide care.  Some of them are the following:

  1. Small Groups - the first line of care, as group members pray for and help each other
  2. Post-Service Prayer Care - after every service, people are available in the Prayer Room to pray for those who are hurting
  3. Dare to Care Training - training the people of Crossroads how to provide care
  4. Dare to Care Ministry Team - Members of this team are available to make appointments to listen, encourage and support people through difficulties.
  5. GriefShare - for those suffering through the loss of loved ones
  6. Growing Together Marriage Enrichment - to help prepare for, and strengthen marriages
  7. Money Coaches - to help those going through difficult financial trials
  8. Benevolence (Stephen's) Fund - to provide short-term help for urgent financial bills
  9. Hospital Visitation Team - Members of this team visit and pray with those in our church that are hospitalized.
  10. The Pastoral Staff - are available and on-call for urgent needs of the Crossroads members
Unsure who to talk to?

Give the church office a call, and the staff will be happy to direct you to the best place to receive care for your particular concerns.  Also, remember to look out for others in our church family.  Sometimes, it's hard for people to ask for help for themselves, so if you are aware of someone in our church who might benefit from the CareNet Ministries listed above, consider asking them if you can share their need with the church staff.  Please remember to respect confidentiality!

Note:

These teams are not made up of professional counselors, but lay persons who have a heart to listen, encourage and support people through difficulties.
