Purpose: The purpose of Global Outreach is to mobilize the people of Crossroads to fulfill Christ’s mandate
to make disciples of Jesus in every nation.
We will endeavor to accomplish this purpose as follows:
• To determine through prayer and research where/with whom God wants Crossroads to
become involved in fulfilling the Great Commission.
• To support through prayer, giving, personal contact, and active involvement the
missionaries/ministries God leads Crossroads to partner with, whether in the USA or
overseas
• To provide information and regular updates so the congregation becomes aware of God’s
work around the world
• To identify and invite people who are gifted and interested in cross-cultural ministry to join
the Global Outreach team and/or consider going as missionaries
• To support missions efforts by the children, youth and other groups of Crossroads
• To plan regularly-scheduled missions events that are interesting and informative
• To evaluate on an annual basis existing ministries/missionaries
• To make recommendations for increases/changes in financial support
