COACHING
VISION
To provide training & support programs that will develop a team of coaching guides for individuals and ministry leaders of the church, which will help them to achieve their goals by listening to the Holy Spirit & to succeed in doing God's will.

WHAT IS COACHING?

Let's start by defining what it is NOT:

  • Coaching is NOT counseling
  • Coaching is NOT consulting
  • Coaching is NOT therapy
  • Coaching is NOT coaxing someone who doesn't want to change into changing.

Coaching is when a friend who is fulfilling the role of a 'coach' comes alongside someone who wants to grow and change and succeed, and helps them to do just that through powerful questions, loving accountability, and objective insight.

Coaching is used in many aspects of life from sports to business to personal life issues to spiritual growth.  The common element is an objective person who comes alongside someone else to help them to succeed in their chosen goals.

Coaching is the method Crossroads has chosen to help people to grow in Christ-likeness, and to become better at ministry in shepherding small groups, guiding ministry teams, and leading the church.

WHY COACHING?

Coaching has been found to double a person's effectiveness compared to someone who is not coached.

At Crossroads we take spiritual growth seriously.  It is our desire to provide a coach for every ministry leader in the church, and every Christian who wants to grow spiritually.
