May 2010 -- What's been happening?
- The Pastoral Search Team has a survey which they are asking all members and regulars of Crossroads to complete. This is your chance to share your input concerning the next Senior Pastor. Please give this survey prayerful consideraation and return it no later than May 23rd.
- The Pastoral Search Committee has been meeting regularly since its formation. We have already had four meetings; one of which was a joint meeting with the church board where Tom Mouw, the Superintendant of the North Central District, reviewed the process of calling a new senior pastor. He listed the various responsibilities of both the church board and the committee in this process. Tom also offered his personal help in the process.
The committee has been looking at Scripture to help center our thoughts on the proper attributes of a pastor and his duties and spending time in prayer.
We are currently studying a book by John MacArthur and we are developing a survey to be distributed to the church body in the near future.
The Pastoral Search Committee requests your continued prayers for the committee and for the man that God is preparing to be our next senior pastor.

- INTERIM YOUTH PASTOR SEARCH TEAM - Has all seven members of their team together, and are giving thought and prayer to the next steps in our youth ministry.
What's the Plan?
The Board has been working on next steps for us as a congregation. We have three definite steps in process:
1st - an Interim Pastor will be located who will provide a consistent preaching presence, and some guidance to the church on transitional issues.
2nd - a Pastoral Search Team will be put together who will begin the process of seeking God's direction for the next man who will serve in the role of Senior Pastor.
3rd -- We will keep serving Jesus and ministering in His name to families in our area. Christ is the Rock!
