Crossroads Congregation, Here is where we will keep you informed of what is happening concerning the pastoral search process for Crossroads Church. You may also call any of the members of the Board if you have specific questions which are not answered here.

Questions:

February 2nd, 2010 -- What's been happening?

• Pastor John Crocker will be installed as our Interim Pastor as part of the Night of Worship, on Saturday, Feb. 20th, evening service at 6:30pm
• Pastor John Crocker's first day in the pulpit will be Sunday, February 21st
• On Sunday, Jan. 24th, at a special Congregational Meeting of the church, they overwhelmingly voted to have Pastor John Crocker serve as our Interim Pastor.
• The Board has voted to have Dean Leonard serve as the Vice-Chairman of the Board, and the head of the Pastoral Search Team.
• The Board has selected three possible people to serve on the Pastoral Search Team.
• The Nominating Committee is tasked with identifying the other three members, for a total of 7 people on the Pastoral Search Team.

What's the Plan?

The Board has been working on next steps for us as a congregation.  We have three definite steps in process:

1st - an Interim Pastor will be located who will provide a consistent preaching presence, and some guidance to the church on transitional issues.

2nd - a Pastoral Search Team will be put together who will begin the process of seeking God's direction for the next man who will serve in the role of Senior Pastor. 

3rd -- We will keep serving Jesus and ministering in His name to families in our area.  Christ is the Rock!
