ON RAMP –
“Discovering Crossroads Membership”
Mondays, September 15th and 22th at 6:30 – 8:30 PM
in the Zone (youth room). Attendance on both nights is required for
membership. This class is for anyone interested in becoming a
member of Crossroads or learning more about this church. You will learn
what unites us: Our Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy, and Our
Structure. Childcare will be available. To sign up write ON RAMP on
your “Welcome Insert”, see the sign-up sheet at the Information Table or
call the church office at 377-3276. The deadline for signing up is
Sunday, September 14th.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Saturday, September 20th (9:00-4:00) - TRAINING for
the eDOT mission team to the Ukraine (going next March). If you are
curious, come to the informational time at 9:00 AM. Additional team

Would you like prayer?
After the service, prayer ministers will be waiting in the prayer room
at the south end of the Worship Center to pray with anyone who has a
need. In addition, a prayer ministry team will be available for anyone
desiring prayer on Wednesday evenings from 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM in Room E1.

Do you have a passion
for evangelism?
The “I Raised My Hand” ministry needs a couple of people to be available
at the table on Saturday nights, at the end of the service. Please
contact Larry & Barb Hansen (377-3425) or Pastor Bill (377-3276) for
more information.
Foundations – Discovering
Spiritual Maturity
Do you know what your next step is in your spiritual growth? Would you
like to find out? Join us in an 8-week journey called “Foundations”.
In this course you will learn how God plans for His children to grow and
mature in every aspect of life and how to cooperate with His plan for
your own spiritual growth. Whether you’ve been a believer for a few
weeks or for decades, the Foundations course can help you determine your
next step in your spiritual growth. Foundations is taught by Jim Troe
and will be held on Monday nights from 7-9 PM starting on September
29th. Please register for this course at the Information Table or call
the church office at 377-3276.
Alpha Course -
Are you interested in investigating Christianity, are a newcomer, a new
Christian, preparing for marriage or a Christian who wants to brush up
on the basics? Alpha is the class where no question is seen as too
simple. The ten week course meets Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM,
beginning with a provided meal, on September 23
rd. There is
a sign up sheet on the Information Table in the Welcome Center.
WANTED: Caring adults
who would like to spend one hour a week or every other week (Sat. 6:30
PM and/or Sun. 9:00 AM) playing with children, ages birth to
kindergarten. No lessons to prepare; just show up and have a good
time. Toys are provided! It’s a wonderful way to allow the parents to
attend the service, knowing their kids are well cared for in
KinderCare. Contact the church office (377-3276) or Myriam Grano

Special Congregational
Business Meeting – The Leadership Board of
Crossroads would like to invite all registered members of Crossroads to
a special congregational business meeting on Sunday, September 21
1. To discuss the addition of an interim worship director(s) to the
staff line-up
2. To discuss extending the term of our Financial Secretary by
another term beyond the norm
3. To discuss the reformatting of the small groups ministry under a
team approach
4. To pray and ask for God’s continued blessing upon our
congregation
The Resource Center
could use more good Christian books.
If you have some to donate, please drop them off at the Resource Center.

Student Announcements
So how is school life?
We can't wait to regather and hear about how you invested your summer.
Many students have made deeper commitments to walk with God. It's time
to get back to our regular schedule of Student Ministry programming.
Once again we have some great ways for you to continue deepening your
spiritual friendships and learning. If you are a Teenager or know one –
here are the things we have going on for you that start in September and
continue at Crossroads through the school year:

Student Life Starts next week – Sunday mornings in the Zone and
N1– High School meets during 1st Service 9-10:15 AM and Junior High
meets together during 2nd Service @ 10:30 AM. Come get involved and
learn something important every Sunday morning in the CSI Zone. If you
are looking for a good daily devotional, come by the Zone and Get a copy
of Youth Walk and dive into God every day in September!
• CSI - Crossroads
Student Impact begins again on September 14th. Our meeting schedule will be the same as last year where
Adults and Parents meet from 5:30 PM, Jr. High students meet at 6pm, Sr.
Highers join us at 6:30 for worship, announcements and a devotion, DUCT
groups happen between 7 and 8 PM then High Schoolers hang out until 9
PM. We meet in the Zone every Sunday. Don't miss the CSI Kickoff on the
14th. And find out where BusTed will be taking us the next Sunday, the
21st for a See You @ The Pole Pre-Rally.
• Mosaic
– be a part of our Student Leadership Community. We have about 20
students that meet every Wednesday. There are more opportunities for
students and adults to get involved in this Ministry Way meeting that
meets Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM. If you have any questions and to
pick up an application (or re-app.), please call Pastor David at the
church office. Applications are due on 9/10/08.
•
The daily after school Drop Zone ministry will be postponed until we
have volunteers that will host students Monday-Friday from 3-6 PM.

Ministries!
Are you a parent of a teenager? Do you feel called or find favor in
working with young people? This is a great time to get involved with
Student Ministry as we gear up for a new school year of helping and
cheering students on in their relationship with Jesus. If you would like
to find out more about these opportunities please look over the brochure
in the bulletin, complete the form inside and/or contact Pastor David @
377-3276. Please join us for any of our activities to take a look at the
environments we create to inspire this generation to experience God.
